Our Executive Director and team of dedicated and passionate staff operate EHM year-round, ensuring that individuals and families receive the best-in-class services and support; finances are managed responsibly; donors are stewarded effectively, and spaces and properties function efficiently and safely. 

About the Executive Director

Ainsley Chapman

Ainsley Chapman

Ainsley Chapman (she/her/hers) has translated over 20 years of progressive management experience into a leadership style that is strategic, collaborative, results oriented, transparent, financially sound, and delivers social impact. She is focused on expanding ehm’s mission by intelligently stewarding donors’ money to create and deliver high impact programs and services to people struggling with homelessness and poverty. Under her leadership, ehm was named one of Canada’s top 100 charities in 2019 by Moneysense magazine.

Ainsley is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), and has a Masters in Sociology. She previously served as the Executive Director of Thyroid Cancer Canada and led program development and planning for a number of local, provincial, and national health charities.
