Congratulations to Jennifer Sully-Ferraro our Senior Director of Programs and Client Care, for receiving the prestigious Sybil Frenette Outstanding Leadership Award, at the recent ONPHA conference.
This award is in acknowledgement of the work that Jennifer did throughout the Portland Place merger. It was a challenging process, but Jennifer’s vision, strong leadership, and collaborative approach to problem solving, turned around some of the sector’s most difficult tenancies into success stories. Her leadership style is one where she provides a level of engagement and coaching to staff that is unparalleled in this sector, and she led Portland Place staff and tenants through some exceptionally difficult changes.
Not only did Jennifer lead this transition during the second and third year of the pandemic, but the building’s transformation and improvements to the quality of life of tenants happened at an incredible speed. All while ensuring the Drop In Centre, Dental Clinic, and Adelaide St Residence continued with their own services.
It is a personal honor to work alongside Jennifer and I learn so much from her every single day. Thank you Jennifer, for all that you have done to turnaround Portland Place, and it means so much that you are being recognized for your work by your peers!
