Our Residence
Homelessness can be prevented or reduced through effective community outreach and affordable housing. To meet the growing need, Evangel Hall Mission’s facility not only allows us to expand our programming, but also provides 84 new addresses for our residents – a much-needed resource in the Toronto area.
- 84 units of transitional supportive housing
- 30 apartments for people with mental health issues
- 6 apartments for people with aquaired brain injuries
- A mix of bachelor, one-bedroom, two-bedroom apartments.
- Fully-furnished units with private washrooms and kitchens
- A partnership with COTA Health, a social services organization that provides on-site support for residents with mental health issues
- Tenant support workers who assist all tenants with day-to-day living, life skills training, counselling and advocacy
- A fully-equipped teaching kitchen to assist residents with cooking
- Outreach programs operating in four new program centres, including the drop-in centre which is twice the size of the old one!
