Adult Drop-In Centre

The heartbeat of ehm. This is our drop-in program. Providing warmth in winter and a respite of cool during the summer months, men and women gather within a safe and comfortable environment.  It is a blend of supports for the homeless, under housed and socially isolated folks who are greeted at the door. Many face the challenges of mental illness and addictions, and find a welcome daytime respite from homeless shelters which are limited to overnight support.

ehm supports and services include:  food, showers, laundry, clothing, toiletries, trustee program, individual counselling, advocacy, affordable housing support, medical and dental clinic, Narcotics Anonymous.  And, we are praised within the community for our appetizing and nutritious meals, served with a warm smile.

ehm has become known as a place of compassion, where staff truly care and strive to meet the material, emotional and spiritual needs of those who seek our help. Anyone looking for assistance, seeking community, or in need of a soft place to land in this harsh world has learned that ehm is the place to come.

Drop-in hours: 
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.;
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  (limited services during the weekend program)
